Bienvenue à Vichy! “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2023” Round 2 - France

We welcome the champions and top riders from all over the world to the "WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2023", Round 2, between 27-30 July 2023 at Vichy, France.

We have only one week left before the “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2023”, Round 2, which is the waterjet tournament to collect points for the World Championship. This year, WGP#1 has increased the number of the competition from 3 to 4 rounds by selecting Lac d'Allier in Vichy, a city located in the center of France, to be the second round of the tournament. This new challenge can attract champions and top riders from all over the world to participate in the competition, including 130 riders from 22 nations, Europe, Africa, America, Oceania and Asia. Highlights of the game include :


In the Pro Ski Grand Prix,
The Winner of Mechelinki - Poland, #72 Jeremy Poret, a French rider, former Champion of “WGP#1  Waterjet World Series” 2019 and 3-times former Champion of  “WGP#1  Waterjet World Cup” 2019, 2017 and 2016.

#44 Raphael Maurin, a French rider, the Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” 2022 and former Champion of  “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2018.

In the Pro Runabout Grand Prix,
#38 Mohammad Albaaz, a Kuwaiti rider, the Winner of Mechelinki - Poland and the Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2022. 

#66 Muhammad  Burbayea, also a Kuwaiti rider, the two-time 2021 and 2019 “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” Champion in Pro Runabout Grand Prix.

#7 Marcus Jorgensen, a Danish rider, Former Champion of  “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup”  2021 and 2019 in Pro Runabout Grand Prix.

Other top riders include  #4 Francois Medori from France and #86 Jun Ikoma from Japan.

In the Pro-AM Endurance Open,
The Winner of Mechelinki - Poland, #8 Jean-Bruno Pastorello, a French rider, a four-time 2022, 2021, 2019 and 2017 “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” Champion and two-time 2022 and 2021 “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” Champion.

#1 Nicolas Chamand, a French rider, Former Champion of  “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” 2021.

#22 Anthony Radetic, a rider from USA, the Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet Offshore World Championship” 2023.

In the Pro-Am SKI Women Grand Prix,
#64 Jasmiin Ypraus, a rider from Estonia, the Winner of Mechelinki - Poland, former Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” and “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2021.

#98 Emma Nellie Ortendahl, a Swedish rider, the Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” 2022.

#8 Lucy Gadby, a rider from UK, former Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series”  and “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2019.

Other great riders participating include, #96 Estelle Poret from France and #23 River Varner from the USA.

In the Pro Sport GP,
#111B Simon Belcher, The Winner of Mechelinki - Poland and #158 James Bushell, two riders from the UK.

In the Pro Runabout 1100 Open,
The Winner of Mechelinki - Poland, #142 Kasidit Teeraprateep, 21 years old rider, a rising star from Thailand.

#176 Valentina Lezcano, a rider from USA, former Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” 2021

#96 Supap Pulsopa, former WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup champion and WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2020 champion etc.

And between 27-30 July 2023 at Le Palais Dulac, Vichy, in addition to the "WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2023", Round 2, WGP#1 in conjunction with the Sports Authority of Thailand and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, will organize "The World Grand Prix Sports Weekend”. The highlights of the event are Muay Thai Demonstration Competition and  Muay Thai Workshop with “Superbon Singhamawynn and Trainer Gae”, The Ultimate Thai boxers of the era and his trainer. Opportunities are yours to register for this exciting event, but it can take only a limited number of participants.

And in addition, there is also Thailand Expo, an exhibition that opens up Thailand for European people to get to know more about our amazing country. There will be the introduction of new and beautiful attractions, original Thai Cuisine, and a variety of local products from Thailand, etc.
